An Easter message to Parents and Children

10th Apr 2020

Dear Parent,

I hope you are all keeping well in these very challenging and unprecedented times. The school staff all send their best wishes to the children and we hope it won’t be long until we are all back together in school

As the school will remain closed for the foreseeable future, we are putting in place a system of online support for parents and children. We have created a home learning area on the school website which has a designated place for each year group. The teachers will be uploading numeracy, literacy and other resources beginning the week of 20th April. There will be opportunities for parents and children to leave messages or comments and to upload photos or pieces of work to the website. This will not be accessible until 20/4/2020.

I recognise that this is a very challenging time for you the parents. It is important that you and your child do not become overwhelmed with the Home Learning tasks. Keep everything in balance. Outdoor play, regular exercise and good sleeping patterns are vital for our children’s health and wellbeing.

During Holy Week, I know that you will join with us as a Catholic community in offering prayers, especially for those who are ill at this time, the health care providers, public health officials and all community leaders.

Yours Sincerely,

Seamus McCreesh

Principal
