P1A began our week by searching for bugs outside. We found spiders, beetles, woodlice and ants. Through our play we made different bugs using natural resources. We also read non-fiction books about bees. We started making a beehive out of junk materials and painted bees. At the writing table we wrote sentences about bees and other insects.
At the end of the week we enjoyed tasting honey on a toasted pancake… a well deserved treat!
